Room to Grow
OUR GOAL: $11.5 Million
Athletics has been a staple of the Central Methodist University campus community for more than a century. From national championships to last-second outcomes, Eagle Pride is always on display when CMU’s student-athletes compete.
New facilities are both a necessity and a source of pride. Eagle athletics is at a critical point in time where there is a need to create facilities that reflect the success and dedication of past teams while building the programs for future success.
Fueling Athletic Pride
Creating unforgettable game day experiences for Eagles and their fans
For the Eagle soccer team, the dedicated field, with spectator stands, concessions and locker rooms, will mean these stellar programs will have designated spaces specifically created to meet their competitive needs during the regular and postseason competition.
The clubhouse in the south end zone of Davis Field will allow the football and track and field athletes the type of facility that first-rate programs provide to their student-athletes during their college years. This facility will allow the coaches to gather their players, both varsity and reserve, in one area which builds team unity and bonding, thus strengthening the students’ commitment to the program.
Additionally, these upgrades will create new opportunities for the entire student body, via intramural sports participation, and provide space for the acclaimed CMU Marching Band to rehearse prior to their performance.
