At Central Methodist University, prospective students have the opportunity to visit Fayette for the annual Central Experience Day and get to know our community and campus. The day-long event is a chance for those looking into colleges to get to know life as a Central student, giving visitors the opportunity to learn about student organizations, academic programs, and the beautiful campus straight from the source.
"College isn’t just something you see. It’s something you experience."
Your Experience Begins Sept. 24
This semester’s event will take place on Saturday, September 24, with registration opening at 8:00 a.m. in Assembly Hall. Visitors will then receive a welcome from Dr. Joe Parisi, vice president for enrollment management and athletics, before being split into groups for breakout sessions.
Throughout the morning, perspective students will hear a presentation on Central’s Digital U initiative, participate in a Q&A session with CMU faculty and student ambassadors, take a campus tour with a stop in the Eagle Store, experience a Day in the Life of an Eagle, and hear about our financial aid and scholarship opportunities.
Find a family of your own, with memories you will never forget, only at Central Methodist University.
In the afternoon, visitors can hang out in the VIP hospitality tent at the Central vs. Culver-Stockton football game, complete with food, games, prize drawings, and more chances to interact with CMU students, faculty, and staff. Those interested can also stick around to watch the Eagles take on Graceland in men’s and women’s soccer in the evening.
