Fieldwork Resources

American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) is the national professional association established in 1917 to represent the interests and concerns of occupational therapy practitioners and students of occupational therapy and to improve the quality of occupational therapy services. There are a number of fieldwork resources located on the AOTA website. You need not be a member to utilize the fieldwork resources.

Gateway Occupational Therapy Education Council (GOTEC) is a group based in St. Louis that includes OT and OTA schools in the central and eastern side of Missouri. They promote collaborative relationships among the OT and OTA educational programs and fieldwork educators. Please refer to the Resources page of the GOTEC website for information on Level I and II Guidelines for Fieldwork, Student supervision, Site specific Objectives, Self-assessment tools, and Evidence Based Practice resources for fieldwork educators.

All Level II fieldwork and the baccalaureate project must be completed within 18 months of the completion of the didactic course work
