Zeta Psi Lambda

Zeta Psi Lambda (ΖΨΛ) is a local sorority at CMU. Often called the Zetas for short, they were organized to promote friendship and social grace to maintain high social standards for their members. Together they are all sisters but encourage each other to be themselves, individuals still able to pursue their own lifestyles while remaining bound together as only sisters can be. The qualities of each individual is what gives the sorority the strength that is has.

Zeta Psi Lambda dedicates a lot of their time giving back to the community. Every year around Christmas, the Zetas carol for canned goods for the Fayette Food Pantry. In the spring they participate in Jump-Rope for Hope as a fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen breast cancer foundation. In addition, they also participate in Screen Free Week in the spring by helping local children tie-dye shirt on the Quad. Twice per year they also work to clean up a section of Highway 5, which they have adopted through MoDot.

The Zetas were founded in 1958 and their motto is "Forward, Upward, Onward." Their official colors are silver and green to match their mascot, the frog.
