Using Accommodations

Students must have submitted the required documentation, completed the required forms, and received approval from the CMU Disability Office before scheduling an exam with accommodations.
It is the student's responsibility to communicate with both their faculty and the testing coordinator when scheduling exams using approved testing accommodations. Exam are to be scheduled at least 2 working days (excludes weekend days) prior to the desired testing day and time. Students with accommodations are welcome to schedule all exams at the beginning of the semester according the syllabus for each class. Exam days and times can be adjusted throughout the semester as needed.

Make-up, Completing Early

To complete early or make up an exam for a class, students must first contact and receive permission from the professor or instructor for the class. It is the student’s responsibility to contact the testing coordinator to schedule the exam. Exam are to be scheduled at least 2 working days (excludes weekend days) prior to the desired testing day and time. Exams given outside these parameters are at the discretion of the faculty, testing coordination, and availability.
