The Ashby-Hodge Gallery of American Art
The Ashby-Hodge Gallery of American Art is the artistic jewel
on the Central Methodist University campus since 1993. The 
Gallery
presents five shows a year, two each semester and one in the
summer. The artists represented in these shows cover a multitude
of media, most of them coming from the mid-Missouri area. At
times, touring shows are booked to give a broader picture of art
in America. In addition to these visiting artists, the Gallery
is committed to exhibiting some of its permanent collection at
all times. The Gallery has over seven hundred works in its
collection, including over one hundred and fifty works in The
Ashby Collection. Special tours are available for groups
throughout the year by contacting the
curator.
The Ashby-Hodge Gallery of American Art is located on the first floor of Cupples Hall on the campus of Central Methodist University.
