Admission Requirements

In order to be admitted to the Teacher Education Program at Central Methodist University, a student must meet the following requirements.

  • ACT score of 20 or a combined SAT score of 930

  • Passage of the College BASE Examination
    (All subtests must be passed within two years)

  • Minimum Grade Point Average Requirements:
    2.5 out of 4.0 Cumulative
    2.5 out of 4.0 in Subject Specific Courses
    2.5 our of 4.0 in Professional Courses (Education and Psychology)
    with not grade lower than a C

Students are usually admitted to the program sometime during their sophomore year.
