6. Share self-study plan with liaison (May 2006)
7. Begin collecting data and documents by subcommittees
(February 2006)
8. Assign subcommittee projects (February 2006)
9. Self-Study subcommittees begin to identify strengths and
challenges and to write
bulleted points of information.
10. Begin collecting and establishing online/print Resource Room |

Conducting the Self-Study (September 2006-December 2006) |
1. Build student awareness through SGA meetings

2. Self-study writer begins writing Chapters I and II for Chair

| Stage IV:
Writing and Reviewing the Self-Study (January 2007—October 2007) |
1. Committee continues to analyze data and draft appropriate
statements for Self-Study
2. Host HLC Liaison visit in March 2007
3. Hold informational discussions with faculty/staff in spring
semester
4. Complete first drafts of chapters by July 1, 2007
5. HLC Steering Committee reviews preliminary writing (August
2007)
6. Host five community meetings (August/September 2007)
7. Revise five criterion-based chapters (Sept/Oct. 2007)
8. Submit comments to writer (Sept/Oct. 2007)
9. Prepare closing chapter – synthesis & planning (Sept/Oct.

Finalizing and Submitting the Self-Study (November 2007—January

4. Invite third party comments to be sent to HLC (November 2007)
