PRESENT
CMU is a private institution, accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Universities. With offerings ranging from high-school dual credit to graduate studies and a total enrollment of more than 3,000, its liberal arts and pre-professional programs are centered on a character core that has twice brought Central Methodist national recognition for its leadership in character education.

LOCATION
The “main” campus of Central Methodist University is located in Fayette, Missouri. Its wooded, historic campus hosts a faculty of teachers, mentors, and scholars dedicated to providing extraordinary attention to the individual learner. The Fayette campus is 26 miles from Columbia, Missouri.

The College of Graduate and Extended Studies has established campus centers at various locations throughout the state including Union, Park Hills, Sedalia, and Columbia, Missouri High school students looking to get a fast start can explore our programs at over 75 high schools from throughout the State of Missouri.

  • Physical space includes over 40 computers, group study rooms, and a collaborative classroom, part of the newly renovated Garst Information Commons
