Palaamo Signs with CMU Volleyball

Fiafia PalaamoFAYETTE, Mo. - Kansas City native Fiafia Palaamo signed a letter of intent to play for the Central Methodist University volleyball team in the fall.
 
Palaamo completed her prep career at Lincoln College Prep High School. During high school, Palaamo was a first team all-district and first team Interscholastic League selection, while also being named to the Spikefest all-tournament team. Palaamo also played for the KC Lady Jags club volleyball team. Outside of volleyball, Palaamo was in the Junior Classical League and made the honor roll.
 
Palaamo joins 18 other athletes who have signed to join the Lady Eagles program next season. The other incoming players include: Taylor Reed (University of Southern Indiana), Nikole Torno (St. Louis-Meramec), Erica LaBoube (East Central College), Megan Santhuff (East Central College), Sarah Lewey (Liberty HS), Tori King (Ash Grove HS), Brandy Raper (Ash Grove HS), Hannah Babcock (Hickman HS), Amanda Nickoley (Mexico HS), Rebecca Brown (Troy Buchanan HS), Danielle Sellers (Troy Buchanan HS), Hannah Spry (Warsaw, Mo.), Morgyn Bergschneider (State Fair CC), Holly Blunt (Bismarck HS), Sarah Greenlee (St. Louis-Meramec), Olivia Gregory (Bowling Green HS), Sophie Whitesell (Lockwood HS) and Kelly LaGrant (Raytown HS).
