IMAP, POP or Other Mail-Enabled Phone Instructions
Connecting your phone to Eagle Mail will depend on your phone type. Try one of the following methods.
email address = your full address (username@centralmethodist.edu)
Login ID = your username (e.g. John Q. Public = jpublic)
Password = your case-sensitive Eagle Mail password
Account type: IMAP (Internet Mail Access Protocol)
If your phone has a list of common carriers like Yahoo, AOL, Gmail, etc. you may have to choose "other > IMAP" or "Work" etc. It varies by device or mail program. This is the next-best option if your phone doesn't have the Exchange option.

Special Note for Mozilla Thunderbird or SeaMonkey mail clients
Thunderbird does NOT have a separate field to enter "Domain
Name." Under the settings for "Security and Authentication" add
"@cmc.edu" after your username.
e.g. User Name =
jpublic@cmc.edu
This looks similar to our email address but
MUST have "cmc.edu" NOT "centralmethodist.edu."
