Service is a distinguishing feature of the education provided at CMU. The ability to help others is a privilege that brings hope and love to humanity. The Civic Engagement program combines mission and action, as students develop into leaders. Students engage civic leaders in dialogue, and serve local, national and even international communities while gaining great volunteer experience and a sense of the key resources available for helping others.

Annual Service Day

The entire CMU community gathers together for a day of service every April. Classes are cancelled on the Fayette campus and faculy, staff, and students are encouraged to participate in a variety of service projects available.
