Bachelor of Science in Nursing
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BSN) is a program for registered nurses who are seeking to complete the BSN. The program is designed for registered nurses who have earned either associate degrees or diplomas in nursing and desire to advance personal and professional goals. The curriculum focuses on the health continuum across the life span of clients, including individuals, families and communities.
Graduates of the RN-BSN program have continued their educations at a wide variety of graduate schools and found rewarding careers with companies such as: Mercy, SSM Health Care, BJC Health Care, St. Anthony’s Medical Center, St. Luke’s Hospital, Des Peres Hospital, Delmar Gardens, Mehlville School District, Lindbergh School District, VA Medical Center, Ranken Jordan, St. Genevieve Hospital, Gateway Regional Medical Center, and Kindred Hospital.

Hospital Partners: CMU-St. Louis is proud to be a partner with hospitals in the St. Louis area to offer the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BSN). CMU has been educating nurses in the St. Louis area for over 15 years at various locations.
BJC Learning Institute, 8300 Eager Road, St. Louis
Courses are taught at the Learning Institute in Brentwood one evening per week from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. The partnership allows CMU to bill BJC directly for tuition expenses for BJC employees eligible for tuition benefits, which means students can focus on school work instead of administrative details.
Mercy Jefferson Hospital, 1400 Highway 61 South, Crystal City or Mercy St. Louis Hospital, 615 S. New Ballas Road, St. Louis
Classes meet one evening per week from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. The partnership allows CMU to bill Mercy directly for tuition expenses for Mercy employees eligible for tuition benefits, which means students can focus on school work instead of administrative details.
St. Anthony's Medical Center, 10010 Kennerly Road, St. Louis
Courses are taught in the Hyland Education and Training Center and meet one night per week from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. CMU works with students who are eligible for the St. Anthony's tuition benefit to make the process as easy as possible.
RN-BSN Scholarship for SSM Nurses
Central Methodist University offers the opportunity for SSM nurses to apply for a scholarship covering full tuition for all coursework required to complete the RN-BSN degree. Applications are collected on a rolling basis throughout the year. Nurses are encouraged to complete the scholarship application and submit it to CMU_Scholarship_Applications@ssmhc.com for consideration.
