Transfer Eagle Day To Welcome New Students

Preparation December 9 before attending CMU

With fall classes soon wrapping up, Central Methodist University is looking forward to welcoming new students coming aboard in the upcoming spring semester.

Students who plan to transfer to CMU in the spring, along with some high school seniors who will be first-time freshmen, will learn about what life is like at CMU on Friday, Dec. 9, during Transfer Eagle Day.

The university’s Admission Department will host the event, which welcomes incoming students and their families to campus, providing an opportunity before school begins to meet faculty, financial aid personnel, and student life and career development staff, among others.

On this day, participating students will engage in interactive sessions, confirm course schedules, finalize financial information, have a photo I.D. taken, and tour campus.

Reservations are requested by Wednesday, Dec. 7. On the day of the event, registration will begin at 10 a.m. on the fourth floor of the Inman Student and Community Center. For more information, call 660-248-6251 or email CMU's Admission Department.
