Track And Field Team Gives Back

Service project cleans up Fayette City Park

On Friday, Nov. 11, about 50 members of Central Methodist University’s Track & Field team, working with Head Track & Field Coach Mark Nelson and the CMU Civic Engagement Office, went to the Fayette City Park as a team service project to do clean-up and preparation for winter.

They picked up trash and sticks, swept the skateboard and basketball courts, and cleaned the areas around the baseball dugout areas.

In one photo, the students are diligently dragging their bags of debris out of the park; in the other, they celebrate success on the monkey bars at the park.
