Senior Recital for Lehman and Volkmann - Postponed

Central Methodist University musicians’ ultimate performance

POSTPONED - The Senior Recital for Lehman and Volkmann schedule for Sunday, Feb. 2 has been postponed to Sunday, Feb. 9 at 4:00 because of the weather and road conditions.

Mary Rose Lehman and Derek Volkmann will present their senior recital Sunday, Feb. 2, at 4 p.m. in the Willie Mae Kountz Recital Hall on the campus of Central Methodist University in Fayette.

The recital is free and the public is invited.

Lehman, a flutist, is from Robertsville, Mo., and is a student of Dr. Dori Waggoner, assistant professor of music and dean of the Swinney Conservatory of Music. Lehman will be assisted by Kelley Head, adjunct professor of music on piano; Dr. Waggoner on bass flute; and senior Chelsea Wallace on flute.

Volkmann, from Franklin, Mo., plays guitar. He is a student of Ryan McLouth, adjunct professor of music. McLouth will assist Volkmann on one number.

Lehman and Volkmann present this recital in partial fulfillment of their Bachelors of Music Education.
