CMU Welcomes High School Seniors

Eagle Days begin April 12

It's that time of year when high school seniors everywhere are gearing up for their exciting new lives in college next fall. To help prepare the soon-to-be Eagles, Central Methodist University will host the first of its Eagle Days on Saturday, April 12.

These sessions allow incoming students, and family members, to visit campus, finalize class schedules, review their account information with business office staff and choose a payment plan, finalize health forms, confirm financial aid packages, register for parking, and get their very own student ID card.

There will also be various informational sessions available for students to learn more about campus as well as the option to take a tour. A separate information session for parents is also available.

Students can sign up for any one of the Eagle Days by visiting the New Student Checklist ( This checklist also allows admitted students to complete all of the required steps prior to starting classes in the fall.

Students can register for either a 9 a.m. or a 1 p.m. session and should plan on spending around three to four hours on campus.

Additional Eagle Days will be held on April 26, May 16, June 6, and June 27. Students are reminded, though, the preferred class schedules are available on a first-come first-served basis, and attendance at early Eagle Days is encouraged.
