Central Methodist Joins TRC In Kennett

Expand partnership begun in 2008

A partnership between Three Rivers College (TRC) and Central Methodist University (CMU) that began in Poplar Bluff in 2008 will soon expand to Kennett, bringing area residents multiple opportunities for bachelor’s and even master’s degrees.

CMU will offer classes in Kennett leading to bachelor’s degrees in Accounting, Psychology, and Special Education beginning the week of Jan. 17. Classes will be held at the Three Rivers-Kennett, 1002 Great West Drive.

The programs are designed for students who have or will complete their associate degrees from TRC and want to move on to a CMU bachelor’s program according to Karen Lovette, CMU regional site coordinator. The CMU main campus is in Fayette.

Lovette and other CMU staff will visit the Three Rivers-Kennett often, and will be available by appointment. She can be reached by calling 573-840-9010 or by e-mail at klovette@centralmethodist.edu.

CMU personnel also can assist prospective students interested in enrolling in any of CMU’s online degree programs.
