CMU Chamber Music Recital to be November 1

Includes vocal and instrumental presentations

A Chamber Music Recital will be presented by members of the Swinney Conservatory of Music at Central Methodist University on Friday, Nov. 1, at 7:30 p.m. in the Willie Mae Kountz Recital Hall on the Fayette campus.

One of the hallmarks of this recital is the variety of presentations, which includes vocal duet, mixed duet, trumpet ensemble, flute choir, and woodwind trio.

Performers include Aubrey Taylor (senior, Columbia), mezzo-soprano, and Chelsea Wallace (senior, Rogersville), flute, accompanied by Mary Jane Nance; Anna Kay (sophomore, Boonville), soprano, and Rebecca Shroyer (senior, Boonville), mezzo-soprano, accompanied by Mary Jane Nance;

a trumpet ensemble of Lakyn Baker (senior, Fayette), Wayne Brown (sophomore, O'Fallon), Zack Fincher (junior, Lebanon), Katelyn Hanvey (freshman, Centralia), Lucas Johnson (sophomore, Pacific), Ann Marie Pelley (junior, St. Peters), and Rachel Richard (senior, Eldon);

a flute choir composed of Ki-Jana Blount (freshman, St. Robert), Pam Crawford (senior, Columbia), Emily Everett (sophomore, Florissant), Hannah Hampton (freshman, St. Clair), Mary Rose Lehman (senior, Robertsville), Casey McDonald (junior, Pacific), Kelli Ridgeway (junior, Sturgeon), Chelsea Wallace, and Denise Weigand (freshman, Weatherby);

and a woodwind trio comprised of Pam Crawford, flute, Alexia Maschmeier (junior, New Bern, NC), oboe, and Rebecca Shroyer, clarinet.

The public is welcome to attend and there is no cost.
