Baker and Shroyer Present Senior Recital

Central Methodist University instrumentalists perform October 18

The first student senior recital of the fall semester at Swinney Conservatory of Music, Central Methodist University, will be presented on Friday, Oct. 18, at 7:30 p.m. in the Willie Mae Kountz Recital Hall on the Fayette campus.

Performing will be seniors Lakyn Baker (Fayette) on trumpet and Rebecca Shroyer (Boonville) on clarinet. Both present this recital in partial fulfillment of the Bachelor of Music Education degree.

Baker is a student of Dr. John Perkins, CMU associate professor of music; Shroyer is a student of Dr. Ron Shroyer, professor of music and dean emeritus of the Swinney Conservatory of music.

The public is invited and there is no cost.
