Central Methodist University invites applications for Adjunct Instructors in our Education department at our Fayette campus in academic year 2013-2014.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Courses required in Fall 2013 include Child Development, Methods and Materials for Teaching Content Classes, Classroom and Behavior Management, and Children's Literature.  Classes required in Spring 2014 include Child Development, Utilizing Family and Community Resources, and Creative Arts.

The fall schedule would be Tuesday/Thursday or four days a week, depending on the specific classes taught, and the spring schedule is Monday/Wednesday.  Candidates who can teach only one or two classes per semester will be considered.  All classes meet during the day.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

Master's degree required. Academic background and Missouri certification in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a middle school subject area required.
