Central Methodist University invites applications for a full-time, 10-month Assistant Athletic Trainer/Instructor/Assistant Professor in the Athletic Training Department beginning August 2013.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include assisting the Head Athletic Trainer in the care, prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation of the University's 14 athletic teams.  Position will include academic advising, clinical instruction, and supervision of students in a CAATE accredited athletic training program.  Nine hours of teaching each semester is typically assigned. Teaching responsibilities will include rehabilitation techniques, organization and administration of athletic training, anatomy and kinesiology and nutrition.  Additional duties include the organization and administration of specific sport coverage including insurance filing, billing and any other duties as assigned by the head athletic trainer. 

Education and Experience Qualifications:
BOC certification is required.  Must be eligible for Missouri licensure.  College teaching as well as basketball experience is preferred.  Preference is given to those who have graduated from or worked with CAATE athletic training programs.
