Several local pastors and Central Methodist students, the Central Methodist choir and members of the Boy Scouts are scheduled to be a part of the event.

"This event is just another way Central Methodist University continues to give back to the community of Fayette through our mission of the NAIA Champions of Character program," the University's Vice President for Institutional Growth and Student Engagement/Athletic Director Ken Oliver said.

This year's featured speaker is Mike Jackman, a 1979 Central Methodist alumnus and part-time pastor of Mount Zion United Methodist Church in California, Mo.

Tickets for the prayer breakfast are $10 per person or $100 for a table of eight which includes sponsorship recognition. All proceeds will go to benefit the Fayette Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry.
