The Program Coordinator is primarily responsible for coordination of CMU's Masters of Clinical Counseling Program in Sedalia.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: The Program Coordinator will be expected to perform at least eight hours of administrative work per week, spread over at least two regularly scheduled work days, and to fulfill teaching responsibilities for two graduate seminars within the M.S.C.C. curriculum per semester. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for providing academic advising support for currently enrolled students, and for prospective students and program administration duties including schedule building, faculty recruitment, and liaison with the home campus regarding student and faculty issues.
Education and Experience: Minimum requirements include a master's degree in clinical counseling and Missouri license for professional counseling, with preference to be given to candidates with a Ph.D. in psychology or counseling, and/or graduate teaching experience.
Other Skills and Abilities: The abilities to prioritize tasks effectively, solve problems creatively and constructively, cope with a changing work environment, and be self-motivated are extremely important.
