Director of Institutional Research

This position is responsible for the overall leadership and management of Central Methodist University's Institutional Research and Compliance efforts.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to analyzing institutional data to support accreditation, assessment, program review, and institutional decision making processes, coordinating internal and external reporting and compliance with state and federal requirements, working with faculty and the Associate Dean for Academics to develop strategies for the assessment of student learning and establishing action plans for continuous improvement including administration of the WEAVE Assessment Tracking Database, providing administrative support to the Office of the Registrar, coordinating administration of multiple internal and national surveys, providing administrative support to faculty and faculty committees, and supporting Jenzabar data entry and data audits related to academic processes and reporting efforts.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in a relevant quantitative discipline. Masters degree or doctorate preferred. A minimum of one year of relevant experience in institutional research and assessment. Advanced knowledge and experience with Excel and Excel Pivot Tables. Knowledge and experience with Impromptu and Jenzabar database preferred. Prefer higher education teaching experience as a full-time faculty member.
