Sigma Alpha Iota Presents Annual Christmas Concert |

Central Methodist University's Theta Omicron Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota (SAI) women's music fraternity will present its seventh annual Christmas Concert on Thursday, Nov. 29, at 7:30 p.m. in the Linn Memorial UMC on the CMU campus in Fayette. The concert is free to the public and students.
The seasonal celebration incorporates the talents of the ladies of Sigma Alpha Iota, as well as the gentlemen in Beta Mu Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and from a number of Conservatory professors.
The music being preformed includes some contemporary Christmas tunes such as, "Baby, it's Cold Outside" and "Where are you, Christmas," and some traditional carols such as, "The Christmas Song" and "O Holy Night." Also being featured will be a trombone solo, trumpet solo, flute solo, saxophone duet, a vocal duet, and four vocal solos.
The ladies of Sigma Alpha Iota will also be accepting donations to go to the music program of Maries R-II school district in Belle, Mo. The Maries music program is under the direction of Jamie Delcour, a 2012 graduate of Central Methodist University.| Related Articles |
