CMU raises $1K for Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry |

The
Fayette community has proudly supported Central Methodist University since
1854. On Tuesday night, the Eagles took time out to return the favor.
The Central Methodist athletic department
proudly presented a check for $1000 to the Fayette Ministerial Alliance Food
Pantry on Tuesday (Nov. 6) between the women's and men's basketball games.
Central Methodist's student-athletes, coaches
and athletic staff selected the Fayette Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry as its
primary charity for 2012-13. The donations were collected during Central
Methodist home athletic contests and the Eagle Lunch Hour from Sept. 1-Oct. 31.
"One of our strategic goals for the athletic
department is to continue to give back to our local community," Central
Methodist athletic director
Ken
Oliver stated. "This
fall, our Champions of Character student-athlete council collected $1,000 in
donations."

Pantry.
The Fayette Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry
serves income eligible and disabled residents of the Fayette, New
Franklin, Armstrong and Boonsboro areas.
