Dr. Alan Gravano to Share Poetry at CMU |

Central Methodist University is pleased to present a poetry reading by Dr. Alan J. Gravano Thurs., Oct. 4, from 12:00-12:50 p.m. in the Willie Mae Kountz Recital Hall on the Fayette campus.
The noon reading is free and open to the public, sponsored by CMU's Cultural Affairs Committee.
Gravano has a master's of fine arts in poetry and a Ph.D. in English from the University of Miami, Fla. His poems have appeared in many journals, including Review Americana: A Literary Journal, Gulf Stream: South Florida?s Literary Current, Ellipsis, and Voices in Italian Americana.
He has published two essays on Don DeLillo, most recently "New York in Don DeLillo?s Novels," and is editor of the academic journal, Italian Americana.
Gravano teaches composition and literature at Marshall University in Huntington, W.V.
