Discover Disc Golf June 9 |

Area residents are invited to a free clinic to learn about disc golf on Saturday, June 9 at D.C. Rogers Lake near Fayette.
Kristin Cherry, a former disc golf tour professional and faculty member at Central Methodist University, will conduct the session from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Everyone, regardless of age and disc golf skills, is invited.
In addition, the first 30 participants will get a free disc. Refreshments will be provided.
The clinic is co-sponsored by Howard County Health and Wellness Council, by Fayette Parks and Recreation, and by the Central Methodist University Communications department.
Founded in 1854, Central Methodist programs range from undergraduate and graduate studies to high-school dual credit offerings.
