Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in the Swinney Conservatory of Music begining in August 2012. Candidates must be committed to a career of excellence in teaching, advising, and mentoring.

Teaching responsibilities will include studio piano and organ, class piano, music theory, and aural skills within the BME, BM, and BA programs. Other duties include service on University and Division committees as well as participation in development of curriculum, program review, and assessment.

The position requires a PhD or DMA (ABD considered) in music or music education. The preferred candidate will have teaching experience and be an enthusiastic teacher focused on student success and learning.
