2013 Summer Camps

Instrumental Camp

The CMU Instrumental camp will be held July 9-11, 2013. Students will be housed in McMurry Hall, and meals will be served in the campus dining hall. Rehearsals and lessons will be held in the Keith House Band Room and the Swinney Conservatory of Music. The CMU Instrumental Camp is for students in grades five through twelve during the 2012-2013 academic year. Every student will participate in an ensemble and receive private instruction. Brochure

Piano Camp

The CMU Piano camp will be held July 16-19, 2013. Students will learn to play piano music in ensembles through musical activities and games. The camp is open to any school-age student who can read and play all notes between bass C (2nd space) and treble D (4th line). There will be a formal recital Friday, July 19. Summer Light Opera Workshop

The 2013 Gilbert and Sullivan Summer Performance Workshop will culminate in a fully staged production. Auditions dates will be announced soon. The production will be performed June 7-9.
