2009 Spring trip is April 24-26.

Leave from Fayette at 4:00 p.m. Friday.  (Behind Stedman)
We have one van reserved and may also have to carpool.
We will stop for dinner along the way (probably in St. James) and arrive at the field station around 8:30 p.m. Friday.
We can spend the day Saturday canoeing on the Huzzah creek or the Meramec river.
• We will cook up a spaghetti dinner Saturday evening and have a campfire afterward.
• We will return after breakfast on Sunday.
• Lodging is in rustic, but heated 4 person cabins with beds and electricity. BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING (e.g. sleeping bags).
• The station includes 225 acres within the 1.5 million acre National forest. The area includes a diversity of ecosystems to enjoy, including short leaf pine forests, calcareous fens, glades, caves, springs, ponds, rivers and reservoirs.
• Cost is $10 per student for meals on Saturday and Sunday breakfast.
