As a classical guitar student, Ryan McLouth spent the bulk of his studies with Douglas Niedt (UMKC) and Anthony Glise (MU). He has taken part in master classes and studied with classical guitar legends Christopher Parkening, the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, the Assad brothers, Bill Kanengiser, Petar Jankovic and others. He has also studied with jazz greats Bobby Watson, Arthur White, Paul McKee, Fred Hamilton, Joe Lee, Bram Wijnands, and Rod Fleeman.
McLouth has been playing music professionally for over fifteen years. Some of his performance highlights include leading worship for thousands on praise and worship teams, sharing the stage with big names like country music legend Joe Diffie, modern rock group Los Lonely Boys, worship artist Wayne Kerr, and jazz great Bobby Watson, as well as participating actively in the music scene of the Midwest.
McLouth is a regular worship music columnist for The Missouri Methodists magazine.
