Look for this information in the mail over the summer, if you get to campus without it please see our offices on first floor of Cupples Hall.

An Eagle account allows you to access campus network and computing resources including computer labs, internet "hotspots", email (Eagle mail), residence hall internet, and printers.

In order to use any of the computer labs, just use your Eagle login and password when prompted to log in.  Unless otherwise noted, be sure the "LOG ON TO" section says CMCNET.

Your eagle account password expires every 365 days and you will receive email reminders starting 15 days prier to expiring.

CHANGING YOUR CMU EAGLE PASSWORD WHEN ON CAMPUS

  • Login to a computer with your Eagle login and password
  • Once logged in, press and hold CTRL+ALT+DELETE keys
  • A Microsoft Windows security screen will pop up and choose CHANGE PASSWORD.  Passwords must meet University criteria.
  • Be sure to check out the section on password best practices.

Change your password from off campus.
