temporary authorization certificatesA student with a baccalaureate or master’s degree who is employed by
a school district at the middle school or secondary level, but is not
certified as a teacher in Missouri, must be in the process of obtaining
a temporary authorization certificate. These students must complete the
application for the Tempoary Authorization Certificate (TAC) program and
submit 2 letters of reference. They are admitted as graduate
students—certification seeking only.
