morenet teacher education workshops
Graduate students desire to increase their knowledge and application
of technology in the classroom. MORENET provides teacher education
workshops designed to increase the technology competency of the K-12
classroom teacher. These workshops range from 2-7 hours in length.
Student may earn graduate credit from CMU for these courses.
| POLICIES
FOR OBTAINING GRADUATE CREDIT |
- Courses will be approved by the graduate committee and
listed in the catalog of CMU for graduate credit in the
Master of Education Program.
- Courses will be numbered Ed790 Special Topics.
- Students may earn 1 graduate credit hour for every 1 day
of workshop programming completed through MORENET.
- Students may combine two ½ day workshops for 1 graduate
credit.
- Students must apply to CMU for the graduate credit.
- Payment and applications may be made by check, cash or
credit card.

- Students must submit a completed application, an
undergraduate transcript indicating receipt of the
baccalaureate degree, and a $75 per credit hour graduate
fee.
- Students must submit a two page reflective summary of
the workshop content for each credit earned. Included in the
summary must be:
- title of course(s)
- summary of content
- ways in which the participant intends to use the
information to improve classroom teaching
