Accounts
To be an authorized user of
Central Methodist University technology resources, you must be a
current or emeritus University faculty member, a currently
employed or emeritus staff member, an alumni, or a currently enrolled
student.
Other
individuals may also become authorized users with guest accounts
for purposes consistent with the purpose and mission of the
University; examples include someone providing service to the
University and visiting faculty.
Download and complete
the CMU user agreement (must have Adobe Acrobat installed)
or contact the
Office of Campus Computing to have one sent to you.
ACCOUNTS
FOR STAFF
After completion of the CMU user agreement, staff at CMU are
provided with an Eagle account and Jenzabar CX (CARS) account. An
Eagle account allows you access
to
campus network and computing resources including
University-owned computers and
email (Eagle mail).
A Jenzabar CX account provides staff with the ability to perform
administrative functions related to their job.
Staff can receive their account information at the Office of
Campus Computing by presenting their ID card or
another form of photo identification. Prior to the
creation of a staff account, employment information is verified
through Human Resources.
ACCOUNTS
FOR FACULTY
After completion of the CMU user agreement, full-time faculty at
CMU are provided with an Eagle account and a myCMU account. An
Eagle account allows you access
to
campus network and computing resources including
University-owned computers and
email (Eagle mail). A
myCMU account will
give faculty advising capabilities and options for web-based
course management. Accounts given to part-time faculty are
handled on an individual basis.
Faculty can receive their account information at the Office of
Campus Computing by presenting their ID card or
another form of photo identification. Prior to the
creation of a faculty account, employment information is
verified through Human Resources.
