2010 summer camps
The Fine Arts division offers a variety of summer camps. Information is
listed below for each of the offerings. More will be added soon.
Piano Ensemble Camp
The Central Methodist University Piano Ensemble Camp will be held
Tuesday, July 13—Friday, July 16, 2010. This camp is open to any
school-age piano students who can read and play all line & space notes
on the grand staff. Deadline for registration is Wednesday, May 26,

CMU Instrumental Camp 2010
The Central Methodist University Instrumental Camp will be July 6-8,
2010. This camp is for students in grades five through twelve during the
2009-2010 academic year. Every student will participate in an ensemble
and receive private instruction. Clinicians will consist of university
professors and outstanding high school band directors. For more

The 2010 Gilbert and Sullivan Summer Performance Workshop
The Gilbert and Sullivan Summer Performance Workshop will be May 10 –
June 24 2010. The workshop will end with a fully staged production of
the Gilbert and Sullivan Operetta, HMS Pinafore, in the Little Theatre June
25 and 27. The workshop is open to high school students, college
students and adults in Fayette and nearby colleges and communities.
Participants will receive training through performance or technical
experience with Music and Theatre faculty from Central Methodist
University. CMU college credit is available at an additional cost.
