Other campus activities: Work study in the public relations office (best job ever!) and student blogger

Hobbies: Singing (especially in my car), watching movies, listening to music, swimming, and being with friends and family

Favorite play/musical: Hairspray

Goals/Future plans: Of course, I want to be on Broadway, but for my Dad’s sake, I’m also looking into directing or doing publicity/advertising for a major theatre company. When my run on Broadway ends I want to open a theatre school for kids! Somewhere in there I’d like to find time to have a family and a few dogs and cats.

Favorite theatre moment: When I played Mrs. Potts in Beauty and The Beast, the first time I came on stage the entire audience let out a huge, “Awwww.” It was so neat to see the effect the magic of that show had on young and old audience members!

Inspiration: Nikki Blonsky (and anyone else who has portrayed Tracy Turnblad) and of course, my family!
