The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940- Michael Kelly
In high I acted in plays such as
Arsenic and Old Lace as Dr. Rev. Harper was my first play ever. I was in
the production Twister as the Artist/ Company, also in the musical
Little Shop Horrors as Mushnik. I was also in a gospel play Not in Front
BJ as the Preacher. Then I also did a little directing, I directed a
scene called The Funeral and was also assistant director to my high
school's production of Jar D' floor.
Other campus activities: I am currently working on re-activating
the Fraternity Alpha Psi Omega the Zeta Lambda cast
Hobbies: Laughing, Painting, Drawing, Reading & Writing, Singing
Favorite play/musical: Into the Woods would have to be one of my
favorite musicals ever, I hope one day to act in it.
Goals/Future plans: I have always wanted to be a teacher and
that's want my major is Secondary Education Biology. I'm still thinking
about rather or not I should double major in Theatre Education.
Favorite theatre moment: Oh, there are too many funny theatre
moments to mention.
Inspiration: Not many people inspire me, but I do remember a
quote from the play Crowns: A Portrait of Black Women in Church Hats,
"No Baby, you want to be just like Jesus!" And that's who inspires me
and I try to be as Christ-like as possible.
