NOVEMBER - DECEMBER
Obtain a FAFSA from your High School guidance counselor , CMU, or on the
web at
http://www.fafsa.ed.gov and gather
required information or use the sources listed
on this website.
JANUARY - FEBRUARY
Complete the FAFSA by March 15 online,
Or you may complete the paper FAFSA and mail it in the provided envelope
to the processor.
MARCH
The priority deadline at CMU is March 15. Certain limited federal aid is
available to students with exceptional financial need,. Priority is
given to those students meeting the criteria and meeting this deadline.
Missouri residents need to file the FAFSA before April 1 in order to
qualify for the Missouri State Grant.
APRIL 1
Absolute FAFSA receipt deadline for Missouri State Grants
APRIL - MAY
Accepted students will receive an award letter showing the amount of
their financial aid. Return your signed award letter after
review.
JUNE - JULY
Student loan information will be mailed to you.
You will receive a
preliminary bill for the fall semester.
Payment arrangements should be made before fall semester begins.
Return payment contract by August 1.
