Geoff Karhoff
Geoff graduated from Carl Junction High School in 2005 and chose to come
to Central Methodist University when he received a Cross Country/Track &
Field scholarship. He am majoring in Social Science Secondary Education
with a minor in Coaching. Since his arrival to the CMU campus he has
made it his goal to make the most of his college experience. Geoff is
highly involved on campus, his freshman year he pledged a fraternity in
the Spring Semester and is now a part of one of the first
National Fraternities at CMU where he hold the position of Awards
Chairman. He also helped kickstart the Fellowship of Christian Athletes
his sophomore year with a solid group of Christian athletes. FCA held an
Ultimate Frisbee Tournament which was a great success. Geoff is also a
member of Pi Gammu Mu, the National Social Science Honors Fraternity. He
has been awarded many other accolades through his first three years at
Central including being a 4 time National Qualifier in Track & Field (2
time indoor and 2 time outdoor). At the close of his Sophomore year
Geoff was elected Student Government President.
A note from Geoff:
As 2007-2008 Student Government President I am here for the students to
make their college
experience just as good as mine has been. I encourage all students to be
active in everything
that goes on throughout the year on the CMU campus. I also encourage
them to be a member of the
Student Government Association, because "Where there is no vision, the
