LEADERSHIP & SERVICE DAY
On April 15, 2008, Central Methodist University students, faculty, and staff will actively engage in the mission of CMU:
Central Methodist University prepares students to make a difference in the world by emphasizing academic and professional excellence, ethical leadership, and social responsibility.
Leadership Workshop: Students and faculty will examine leadership during the day with Kevin Eikenberry, nationally known author, speaker, consultant, trainer, and the Chief Potential Officer of The Kevin Eikenberry Group. Students as well as faculty will be facilitators of sessions as we define leadership and discuss leadership in the CMU community.

Service: Other students and staff will participate in service opportunities in and around the Fayette campus and the community. These projects are being developed by students as well as faculty and staff.

The day will end with a community dinner to celebrate what we have learned and what we have accomplished.

At CMU, students, faculty, and staff ASPIRE to learn, to lead, to serve. We embrace this opportunity to define our unique purpose.
