Sorority Functions
Formal Rush
Formal Rush is held twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. It is the final rush that is held before pledge week. Formal Rush is a time when actives and prospective pledges can meet and get to know one another.
Homecoming
GO EAGLES! Homecoming is always a good time. A lot of time is put into making a float and participating in Homecoming Week activities. A Sigma favorite is always the lip sync competition.
Dad's Weekend
Dad's weekend is a Sigma favorite. It gives each member, or as some would say, 'Daddy's Little Girl's', a chance to share special moments with the most important men in their lives.
Hayride is held in October. It is a time to for our sorority to relax after all the work that was put into the success of Homecoming.
Christmas is a time for fun and friends. Sigma's have a beautiful banquet and great dance to help celebrate that special time of year as a sisterhood.
Greek Week
Greek Week involves many of the same activities as Homecoming. It is a time for all of the Greeks at CMC to get together for games and a lot of fun!
Mom's Weekend
Mom's weekend is also a Sigma favorite. It gives each member a chance to show their appreciation to the most important women in their lives.
Viva Las Vegas
Viva is a fundraiser that Sigma's put on in order to raise money for the Battered Women's Shelter in Moberly, Mo. There are refreshments, snacks, and lots of 'gambling'! A good time had by all!
Spring Formal
Sigma's are all about class. Spring Formal is the last major event of the semester. It is a time of relaxation and fun that every Sigma always looks forward to.
Senior Picnic
Senior Picnic is a time to say good-bye to all graduating Sigma's. Our Sig. Pi. Guy barbeques for us and we enjoy each other's company one last time.
Float Trip
Float trip is a time in the summer for Sigma's to get together and have a day of relaxation on a river. It is always a good time!
