In Just Six Words
Posted on Tuesday, February 26, 2008.

I recently wrote a post on my regular blog about writing a memoir in just six words.  Before you read on, please take a second to read it.

I'll wait.  :)

Now that you are back, I'd like you to be thinking about this concept in preparation for our Leadership Day April 15.  Here is your assignment.

What would be your six words to describe effective leadership?

Feel free to post your answers here, or send me an email.

I look forward to your responses.  :)

Some Wisdom for You
Posted on Friday, February 01, 2008.

The post is called 12 Things I learned at 42 That I Wished I'd known at 22.  I think you will enjoy it.

What are your thoughts about it? Post them on the CMU Leadership Facebook page.

Thinking About Leadership
Posted on Friday, February 01, 2008.

Hi, my name is Kevin Eikenberry.  I'll be on campus April 14-15 to help engage everyone in a conversation
Kevin Eikenberrtabout leadership.  I'm excited about it and looking forward to meeting many of you.

I plan to post articles here over the coming weeks - some written just for you, and some that I've written for other purposes, but that I think will be valuable to you.  I hope this blog can be a place to help you get excited about April 15, to engage in the conversation and more!

I don't think I will be the only person posting here - I'm hoping you wil be able to learn more about the days events on this blog as well.

Last (for now) I hope this blog is just a part of the conversation.  I think we will be setting up a Facebook Group and I'm open to your ideas of other things we can do to raise awareness, excitement and conversation about Leadership for you and at CMU.

There will be more to come soon!

You are Remarkable!

Kevin  :)
