Dunger to play basketball for Lady Eagles

Sami Dunger of Lafayette High School has signed a letter of intent to play basketball this fall for Coach Andi Brooks and the Lady Eagles.  Dunger is a 5’8” shooting guard who holds her school record for the best free throw percentage in a season and in a career.  During her final year at Lafayette H.S., she was a second team selection to the Visitation Tournament, second teams all conference, and nominated as a McDonalds all-American award.  In her junior season, Dunger was named to the Randi Perskins tournament team, Visitation tournament selection, first team all conference, honorable mention All-Metro, and tied the school record for the most three pointers in a season with 54.
