Smith joins 2008 recruiting class

 

Marquita SmithMarquita Smith joins the Lady Eagles from Lewis & Clark Community College.  The 6’1” native of Chicago, Illinois, was an honorable mention all-conference selection after coming off the bench.  During her sophomore year she averaged 5.3ppg, shot 40% from the floor, and pulled down 4.4rpg.  Smith is planning on majoring in Early Childhood Education.  Smith helped the Trailblazers to a 29-3 overall recorda and the #1 ranked team in the NJCAA Division-II poll.
