Dionne Francis-Jumps coach
Coach
Francis joins the Eagle coaching staff after a stint at the University
of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Francis will be in charge of all the
jumpers for the program. She is a native of Kingston, Jamaica, where
she attended Merl Grove High School. Francis began her collegiate
career at G.C. Foster College where she high jump for the track and
field program. In 1999 and 2000, she was a two-time Jamaican
Intercollegiate Champion in high jump. Francis transferred to Auburn
University were she high jumped and triple jumped for the Tigers while
receiving her degree in Exercise Science in 2003. Currently she is
working on her Master of Education degree at Central Methodist
University and is scheduled to graduate in the fall of 2008.
