Pannier & Wellborn Estes Outstanding Athlete Awards
The Darla Pannier Outstanding Female Athlete Award (established in
1990) and Wellborn Estes Prize in Athletics is awarded annually to an
outstanding female and male athlete. The recipient of this award is
chosen by the Department of Athletics and the Athletic Director. It is
awarded on the basis of scholarship, spirit, ability, leadership,
citizenship, and moral and spiritual qualities.
