Nate Breland enters his fourth year as the strength and
conditioning coach at Central Methodist University. He is a certified
personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning
Association and also holds a certification with USA Weightlifting.
Breland also served as an assistant baseball coach for one
year after completing his playing career at CMU. On the field, Breland
was a two-time preseason All-American and earned All-HAAC honors four
times. In 2006, he was the HAAC batting champion. He also served as a
captain for the Eagles for four years.
Breland obtained his bachelor’s degree in physical
education and master’s of education from Central Methodist.
